Planning Permission Approval (Southwark): Erection of Second Floor Rear Extension in Conservation Area

MZA Planning has been successful in gaining planning permission for a client in Southwark. Our client applied for the erection of a second-floor rear extension in a Conservation area.

MZA Planning arranged for an architect to produce drawings for the project and prepared a design and access statement in support of the planning application. The drawings had to be amended after liaising with the case officer, as the roof of the extension needed to extend below the original eaves line. These efforts were appreciated by the council which led to planning approval!
