I am so grateful to MZA for the success of my appeal. I was surprised and delighted with the result because there was an aspect of my plans that was arguably against the policy of the conservation area but the team at MZA very skilfully prepared the appeal statement in a way that emphasised how it was in keeping with the neighbouring properties and wider conservation area. I am delighted to report it has been a great pleasure dealing with MZA Planning. We had been refused permission to build a wrap around extension on two occasions. Both our Architects had given up and advised us to alter the designs to match the requirements of the Local Authority’s planning rules. We had also given up, and then by chance MZA contacted us and explained how they could help. To be honest, I did not think we would get anywhere but MZA put forward a very well researched case on our behalf and managed to appeal and obtain the permission we needed. I would recommend anyone who is having similar issues with the local authority to contact MZA.

MZA helped me with a tricky loft extension to navigate Ealing Council and the planning rules that they seem to apply in a fairly inconsistent manner, depending on who you talk to. I concluded that it helps hugely to have a professional team to deal with the council and MZA were excellent in planning and presenting a novel approach to make planning approval a no-brainer. The team (Bho, Yusuf and Anita) were excellent and got me through the process with a minimal amount of stress, so if you are dealing with council planning, I would recommend a talk with MZA – you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
