After many months of trying to have sensible conversations with the planning department at Hounslow, I was worn down to the point of giving up. At every opportunity Hounslow simply said NO and maintained a desire to show no common sense and almost demonstrated an appetite to simply play games because they could. It was all very depressing until one day I received a post card through my door after my third rejected planning application. The post card was from MZA. A local, professional planning consultancy that suggested that they could help. I was very sceptical but thought that it was worth paying for a brief consultation. MZA Planning successfully presented my planning application to the Planning Inspectorate after the local planning authority had denied it. The Planning Inspectorate found in favour of the application and have declared it should be allowed. MZA Planning have been utterly brilliant. The entire organisation have been consistently and flawlessly professional throughout, have provided a steadying hand when needed and a relentless tenacity for success that would have you believe this was their own personal journey. MZA helped me with a tricky loft extension to navigate Ealing Council and the planning rules that they seem to apply in a fairly inconsistent manner, depending on who you talk to. I concluded that it helps hugely to have a professional team to deal with the council and MZA were excellent in planning and presenting a novel approach to make planning approval a no-brainer.
