“When the Council first declined our extension project, I was gutted… only to find that we could do as much, if not more, under Permitted Development, on the advice of our architect. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone at MZA planning for their excellent and professional service. I had contacted other planning companies before coming across MZA, but I did not get the same positive vibe as when I first met with Yussuf. MZA were the only company who readily came out on a site visit to understand my situation first hand. Their prices were also very reasonable compared to another company that charged me more for a few hours of work compared to MZA for the whole case. I had Yussuf and Bho dealing with my case and they are clearly very knowledgable in their fields as they understand all planning issues, what is likely to be granted and what isn’t etc along with a full understanding of the relevant policies that would relate to my case. When presenting the case, they laid out all my arguments to the council in a very professional and concise manner and all backed up by the relevant policies and documents referred to by the council. I also want to say a big thank you to Anita who dealt with a lot of my phone calls and is always very calm and professional, even when I was very stressed. I am glad to say that I won the case thanks to MZA, even when the council made it seem impossible. I will definetly be using them for any future planning issues and I have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone, whether it be for residential or commercial planning. I found the team at MZA very knowledgeable, helpful & professional. As you would expect from a firm that specialises in planning appeals, they cover all basis to ensure the highest chance of success. The fees are very reasonable especially when you consider you pay 50% to submit your appeal and the other 50% only if successful, which ensures the agent will do everything to ensure your success. I would highly recommend anyone during an appeal stage but also worth considering for people with ambitious plans at planning stage.

I found MZA to be very efficient and organised company. The fact that 36% of their fee is payable upon appeal being allowed, shows they are confident in handling the appeal.
