Our client based in Ealing contacted us as he wanted to erect a garden cabin which then changed to a pergola type structure. His property was a new build so didn’t have permitted development rights. We were able to advise our client on the key planning issues and in this case this was the potential impact on the character and appearance of the area.

Through careful design our architect proposed a structure that was subordinate to the host dwelling and didn’t have foundations so wouldn’t affect the roots of neighbouring trees.

Ealing Council approved the application
