Planning Application:
London Borough of Westminster
Harrow Road
Planning permission granted for an extension of rear extension at lower ground floor level and associated increase in height of boundary walls to rear garden (Retrospective)
Retrospective application to retain a rear extension at lower ground floor level
This case relates to a regular client who needed MZA to submit a retrospective application for a rear extension that had not been built in accordance with approved plans. To make matters worse the next door neighbor also objected to the application
The case was referred to committee by Westminster council as the proposal raised some key issues such as:
– Is the extension acceptable? And
– what kind of impact would be caused by the extension on the amenity of the neighbouring property?
Following from the committee meeting the application was approved with standard conditions. The client is able to retain their rear extension.
