Appeal Won in Chiswick House Grounds Conservation Area for a Single Storey rear Extension

We are delighted that we have just won a planning appeal in London Borough of Hounslow for a single storey rear extension. We had previously submitted and obtained planning approval for a similar but smaller extension.

We subsequently submitted an application for a larger extension, however, the Council argued that it would have a harmful impact on neighbouring occupiers due to loss of light and would be too bulky and overbearing. We submitted a daylight and sunlight assessment with our appeal were able to argue that the proposal would not be harmful to the Conservation Area. The appeal Inspector agreed with our arguments and the Council decision was reversed.
