Appeal won for porch extension and canopy to property of church in Hounslow

Development: Erection of Porch Extension and Canopy to the flank of property
Our client’s property is a locally listed building and we applied to add a front entrance porch extension, however, Hounslow Council refused planning permission on the grounds of adverse impact on the character of the property.
We were instructed to handle the appeal and successfully argued that the extension which would be predominantly glazed would not obscure views of the locally listed building or any of its ornate features.
The appeal Inspector agreed with the above arguments and the appeal was allowed.
