Appeal won for Hardstanding and associated alterations in Brent

We submitted a planning application followed by an appeal for our client who was being threatened with planning enforcement action for carrying out changes to their front garden without the requisite planning permission by Brent Council.

The property was located in a conservation area, however, we were able to argue that although the percentage of soft landscaping was less than 50% we were increasing it above what was originally existed.

The Planning Inspectorate agreed with our arguments and overturned the Council’s refusal to allow the appeal. The approval has saved our client untold amounts of money and stress.
