Appeal won and full planning granted for 2 dwellings and part extension in MOL, Chiswick

We are extremely proud to announce that our appeal for the erection of two houses and a part single- part two-storey rear extension was won, with full planning permission granted in Chiswick, London Borough of Hounslow.

Our client approached us after the Council refused planning permission, on the grounds of inappropriate development on MOL (Metropolitan Open Land).

We contested this by compiling a comprehensive supporting statement. We argued that the development boosts housing supply, and that the site had sufficient capacity for 2 new dwellings, making efficient use of the available land.

Furthermore, the proposal would not materially change the views that currently exist into the appeal site from different angles, and there would be no perceived loss of openness in a visual sense.
