Hounslow appeal won for single storey wraparound extension

Development: Erection of single storey wraparound extension, roof extension and associated alterations

MZA have won x2 planning appeals against Hounslow Council. The first related to a ground floor wrap around extension and the second to a roof extension. The property was located in Brentford and in a Conservation area.

The council argued that the proposal would erode the character of the host dwelling. However, through our careful research we were able to find similar developments that had been approved by the Council and also allowed on appeal. Our appeal statement set the case out in a very clear manner and the appeal Inspector agreed with the case we had made.
